| Hacker Diet update week 17 (skipped 16) Current mood: optimistic Category: Goals, Plans, Hopes Well... the last 2 weeks have seen a turn around.
Last we met, I was heading full bore towards a plateau. Well, I was able to break through. And All this with Thanksgiving in the middle... I brought my trendline back below the 2.5 lb/week estimate and have it continuing to fall at a bumpy rate...
Here's the deal, I did what I said I was gonna do:
§ I double checked everything, and made sure I wasn't eating anything I didn't record. For this I DID cut out my crystal light iced tea for now, as it was always something i never tracked, but at 5 cals per serving.. it was something I needed too. So out it went. § Some chili was made... then eaten... § Chicken soup was made.. didn't calc the cals, but I'm pretty sure it's on the level with Chili... so I clock it at 150/cup seems ok.. § I've been eating larger lunches, and smaller dinners.
So this jump started things again... but it was thanksgiving... twice... so I ate right to my limit, and canoli more on thursday and saturday.. this caused some bumpiness.. Also tonight I had some popcorn; putting me over my limit by about 35 calories..
But trend/weight is going down at an acceptable rate, excersize is going up at an acceptable rate, and all in all looks like I lost about 10 pounds this month.. which is right on target (even though my target is lower than I want....)
This has renewed my faith in the system! Not that it ever really waned, but my resolve did..
