The new formula for driving energy!
Or at least it was... When I first wrote this page the above graphic linked to www.delorean.com which at the time was the new site for the delorean motor company. A lot has changed: John Z. went bankrupt, the company went under, and on March 19, 2005 John Zachary Delorean died, and his dreams of a new Delorean car went with him. Since then the URL was bought up by DeloreanOne in Texas. DeloreanOne is a nice company from whom one can buy a refurb DMC-12 or Delorean parts.

What can I, being an imperfect being, say about such a perfect creation? My first glimpse of a Delorean was like many other people's, in the movie "Back to the Future." I first saw the movie in 1986 about a year after it came out, and although at the time I worshiped the movie, I never quite knew what was so compelling. So I didn't think about it much until early one January morning in 1996. That particular morning I was just surfing the web on my school's T1 connection, when a stray link led me to the domain of someone having a picture of a Delorean on the page. I was instatly reinfatuated with the finely crafted irish machine. My quest for knowledge of the device, and the man behind it became unending. I visited every web site I could locate about the man, the myth, and the machine. Day after day my longing to own John Delorean creation became greater and greater. It still grows to this very day. So to help ease the pain of not owning my dream car, and also that I may share a bit of my dream with the rest of the world, I've created this web page.

Now, I could go cheesy like most people and start pulling every pic I can find off of other people's sites, or I could put up a few that I took myself.  I think I'll go with option 2.  (Except for the logo/link at the top of the page, I got that from John Z.)
